Pinkness - Roses are most commonly associated with love and romance - this image depicts delicate pink antique roses representing compassion, grace, admiration, and joy. Roses can also mean secrecy or confidentiality and in many old cultures roses would be hung from the ceilings of banquet halls, and it was understood that anything said under the roses was to remain confidential and everyone under the roses were sworn to secrecy.

Purple Cascade - like purple rain - these stocks fall restlessly yet beautifully into an almost meditative state. Also seen as Abyss in the Blush Series - bad hair days.

The earliest surviving photograph depicts a simple scene taken from a window in France by the scientist Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1827. In the nearly 200 years since, a vast archive has been created, as Irving Penn noted, “the most vital record of human existence is the visual record.”
Photography has the magical power to transform three dimensions into a flattened plane. An entirely new perspective is forever preserved. The resulting images, once offered to the world, have the power to connect us across borders and through time.

Wandsworth Common Station: Evening walks in London suburbia during UK Lockdown became eerily quiet and isolated. This station is usually a thriving hub of people busy leaving for London offices, theatres, shops and restaurants or arriving back home after a long day of work. During these times everyone was at home, movement was limited and the rare station visitors were those collecting their online orders from the parcel storage machine.
