European - Chinese Photographic Art Yearbook 2002 -2023

An authoritative and influential book which includes European photographers for the first time with the aim of promoting artistic exchange between the East and West and bringing together 150 photographers showing their perspectives on the world. My image Tempest is included in this book.

The Royal Photographic Society presents The London Region Members 2022 Print Exhibition at Lauderdale House, London - images representing many genres and styles from travel to contemporary, from portraiture to street, landscape to seascape. My image “Tempest” was selected to be a part of this event alongside 70 other photographers.

In 1878 a local photographer, William Field, became a member of The Photographic Society which today is now know as The Royal Photographic Society. From his studio in Putney High Street, William photographed the urban landscape and the daily lives of the people of Putney. Over 140 years later, inspired by his works, six local photographers decided to follow in his footsteps and recreate images taken from similar locations. In the exhibition the original images, curtesy of St Marys Church, Putney where they were found, are displayed alongside the modern views. Four of my images included in the exhibition.

My image ‘Gin & Tonic’ was displayed at this outdoor exhibition which would normally have been exhibited in a gallery however due to the Covid pandemic this amazing outdoor location was used. The exhibition was located outdoors beside the Thames at the North end of Putney High Street.

In celebration of the Totally Thames Festival an outside photographic exhibition was created to display interesting and varied views of the Thames River. My image, Thames Beach, was printed onto waterproof and weather-proof material and included in this successful outdoor exhibition.
